Once again I am confused -- this time by Robert Mount's letter ("This is really what's wrong with politics" July 28). I do agree with Mr. Mount's yawns regarding characterizing our president as a "liar" and a supporter of "European Stuff." Our president has engaged in those activities to the point we yawn and ignore them. (Perhaps that is what our president desires?) But when Mr. Mount implies that Rep. Joe Walsh "has been dependent upon government contracts, government grants, donations from individuals, and now a government salary," he lost me. That is a perfect description of President Obama. Was this a typo? There is, however, one obvious error in his letter. Joe, unlike his predecessor, actually does represent his district. That is why Illinois Democrats changed the map: They want to get rid of him.
