Prospect Heights will collect flood-damage items

Prospect Heights residents can put flood-damaged materials, including appliances, on their parkways for free pickup on Friday, July 29. The collection will be completed Saturday, July 30, said a notice from the city. The garbage hauler is waiving all material preparation requirements and weight limits. No landscape waste will be collected until Aug. 5.
