Who really runs the country?

Picking up on the Michele Bachmann news story, I wonder how many feel as I do: The sitting president does not run the country. Mostly they are the front men anointed by the ruling class.

If Bush and Obama could get away with the masquerade, why not Bachmann or whoever gets elected? We know Kennedy did not want Johnson, nor did Reagan want Bush, but somehow the fifth column told them who the VP was going to be. All the rest of the explanations are stories for children.

We never really know who we are electing till after the election is over and we see who are appointed to the president-elect’s cabinet.

When I speak with other politically knowledgeable activists, they agree. The time for change in this practice is now. By the president’s choice of cabinet, he comes out of the closet and we really know what his agenda is.
