Cook County Legion finals postponed to Monday

Another wave of heavy rain postponed the finals of the Cook County American Legion baseball tournament for a second straight day Sunday.

The final two games have been rescheduled for Monday at Rec Park in Arlington Heights. Arlington and Palatine will play an elimination game at 11 a.m.

The winner will then face Elk Grove at approximately 3 p.m. to determine the Cook County champion. The champion advances to the state tournament which starts Wednesday in Galesburg.
