Chicago shooting kills 1, wounds 2

Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one man dead and two others, including an elderly man, wounded on Chicago’s South Side.

Authorities said the fatality was an 18-year-old man, who had been shot in the chest.

Injured were a 17-year-old boy and a man, 87, who was sitting on a porch when shot.

According to Chicago Police News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti, the teen was shot in the stomach and is hospitalized in serious condition. The man suffered a graze wound to his arm.

Authorities say no suspect is in custody for the shooting, which occurred in Chicago’s Englewood community.
