The Geneva Arts Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 23, and Sunday, July 24 on South Third Street, south of Route 38.

More than 20,000 visitors are expected to attend the Geneva Arts Fair. Presented by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, this is the 10th year for the juried show that was voted a Top 200 Fine Craft Fair by Art Fair SourceBook and a previous winner of “Best Craft or Art Show” by West Suburban Living magazine.

Phase two of the Shodeen Swedish Cottage is ready to be completed. After painting the inside and out during Swedish Days, the Arts Fair invites children to “Trim it Up.” Using creativity and imagination, children will decorate the scalloped trim for the roof.

Twenty-four of this year’s artists are participating in Carlson’s Floor “On the Floor” project. Look for these works of art created by incorporating donated Carlson’s Floors tiles into their media.

In addition, Plandscape Inc.’s greenery, fountains and statues will become a work of art when their expertise transforms corners of the show into a visionary display of beauty.
