We want to see you sweat: Share your heat photos with us

This heat dome sitting over us and the Midwest means we'll be sweating it out in the suburbs this week.

And let's face it: We are not ones to suffer in silence. Grousing about the weather is as much a tradition in Chicago as, let's just say for example, the Cubs losing. So we thought we'd have some fun with the heat and hold a "Sweatin' it out in the Suburbs" photo contest.

Send us your hot weather pictures to heat@dailyherald.com by Wednesday at 6 p.m. On Thursday morning, we'll publish a gallery of your best pictures. In addition, we'll pick our favorite picture to run in print, and the winner will receive six free passes to Arlington Park (good through Sept. 25, 2011).
