Police probe apparent Willowbrook murder-suicide
An apparent murder-suicide late Thursday night in an unincorporated area near Willowbrook is under investigation by the DuPage County Sheriff's department.
In a news release, spokeswoman Dawn Domrose said officers responded to reports of gunshots about 11:45 p.m. Thursday on the 10S400 block of Echo Lane. The reports said a man had shot a woman.
When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman dead from gunshot wounds. Domrose said the two were in a long-term dating relationship.
No further information has been released as authorities attempt to contact family.
