• Someone slashed the tires on a Buick Century and a Nissan Versa on the 1000 block of Ridgeway Avenue near Aurora between 7 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to a sheriff's report.

• Randy S. McDonald, 26, of the 600 block of South Sumner Avenue, Aurora, was charged with felony aggravated battery of a police officer at 8:30 p.m. Sunday after officers were called to the 600 block of South Sumner Avenue because an intoxicated McDonald was causing a disturbance, according to a sheriff's report. He is accused of punching an officer in the chin.

• A 6-foot by 10-foot soccer goal was stolen between 8:15 a.m. Tuesday and 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from a park at Montgomery Road and Jackson Street near Aurora, police said.
