Services set for boy killed in ATV wreck

MARION — Family members and schoolmates of a 13-year-old southern Illinois boy killed in an all-terrain vehicle accident are saying their goodbyes.

Williamson County authorities say Marion Junior High School student Dalton Gourley of Thompsonville died Saturday when the ATV he was driving swerved to avoid a vehicle, went out of control and hit two wires supporting a utility pole.

The Marion Daily Republican reports that Gourley later died at a hospital.

Services were scheduled for Tuesday night at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
