2 arrested in Ill. after holdup outside Mo. casino

ST. LOUIS — Two St. Louis men are each jailed on $100,000 bond after being accused of robbing another man outside a St. Louis County casino before leading police on a chase into Illinois, where they were caught.

Twenty-five-year-old Maurice Wilson and 19-year-old Kenneth Wilson are charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. It isn't clear if they're related.

Police say a man was robbed early Monday in the parking lot of the River City Casino. Police spotted the suspects' car and chased it into Illinois before it drove into a cornfield near Dupo.

One suspect was arrested at the scene, the other three hours later.

A woman who answered Tuesday at a home telephone listing for Maurice Wilson says she's unfamiliar with the case and can't comment.
