Mundelein has three new pageant queens.

Part of the annual Mundelein Community Days Festival, the pageants were staged this week at Mundelein High School.

The Miss Mundelein pageant, featuring 10 contestants between the ages of 16 and 21, was first on Monday.

The top prize went to Kristen Orlowski, 19, a sophomore at Illinois State University.

Next up was Tuesday’s Junior Miss Mundelein pageant, featuring 14 contestants between the ages of 11 and 13.

Emily Hay, 13, was named the Junior Miss queen. She’s an eighth-grader at Fremont Middle School.

Finally, the Little Miss Mundelein contest was held Wednesday night. It featured 10 contestants between the ages of 6 and 8.

Natalie Biegel, 8, got the top prize. She’s a fourth-grader at St. Gilberts School.

All three girls now advance to the Lake County Fair pageants. The fair runs July 26-31.
