At a glance: Tuesday's doubleheader is the result of a rainout on May 15. The Cubs and Giants split two games in that abbreviated series. Lopez will be making his second start for the Cubs in the Tuesday night game. Vogelsong has been one of the more pleasant surprises in all of baseball this year. The Giants entered Monday in first place in the NL West, 1½ games ahead of Arizona. They were last in runs scored and 15th in team OBP, but their pitchers ranked third in ERA, at 3.21. The Cubs' Blake DeWitt is 6-for-15 against Giants ace Lincecum. Zito has held Alfonso Soriano to 6-for-41, but Carlos Pena is 6-for-19 with 2 homers vs. Zito. Former Cub Mike Fontenot is on the Giants' DL with a groin injury.
