Vernon Hills pageant Sunday

Twenty-nine contestants will vie for titles at the 2011 Vernon Hills Pageant at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive. Ten Little Miss, 16 Junior Miss and three Miss contestants will compete for the 2011 titles. This years queen’s charity is a book drive for preschool-to-eighth-grade children. Instead of an admission fee, visitors are asked to bring a new or gently used book for donation. Contact vhrn40@comcast.net with questions.
