Arlington Heights residents looking to upgrade their education, training or skills with an eye toward returning to the workforce can apply for the Mayor's Annual Community Scholarship.

The program, developed in cooperation with the Workforce Board of Northern Cook County, is meant to give adults financial assistance, donated by the local business community, for course work at an approved Illinois educational institution. The scholarship can be applied to expenses that include tuition and books.
