College of DuPage safety officials started the process of evacuating the gym filled with family and friends of the 2011 Neuqua Valley High School graduation class on Sunday, May 29th. The evacuees were moved to storm safe areas in the COD building. The graduates had not entered the gym yet. About one third of the those in the gym were evacuated before the all clear was give and the graduation ceremony could continue.
