Loyola loses assistant to Butler

Michael Lewis, an assistant men’s basketball coach at Loyola University for less than a month, has resigned to take a job as an assistant coach at Butler University, Loyola head coach Porter Moser announced Thursday.Lewis was named to the Loyola staff on April 16. Lewis came to Loyola from Eastern Illinois, where he spent the previous six seasons as an assistant coach on head coach Mike Miller#146;s staff. He is a native of Jasper, Ind.
