Naperville man arrested 3 times in 8 days

A Naperville man was arrested on charges of drunkenly harassing his neighbors three times over eight days.

Lyman R. Sadlick, 50, is free on bond after he was arrested around noon Saturday for knocking on the doors or ringing the doorbells of his neighbors near Beaver Court, Naperville Sgt. Gregg Bell said Thursday.

Responding officers ordered Sadlick to stop and he returned home. A short time later, however, police found him outside.

Sadlick was charged with being an intoxicated pedestrian in a roadway and disorderly conduct, Bell said. He also was charged with violating the bond he posted earlier in the week for two similar incidents.

Bell said Sadlick was arrested at 11:35 p.m. April 23 when he was found drunk and outside the home of a neighbor on the 700 block of Beaver Drive.

He was charged with disorderly conduct and freed after posting $120 bond.

Police were called back to the neighborhood about 12:20 a.m. April 26 where they found Sadlick inside someone's home, Bell said.

Bell said the male homeowner and a woman were sleeping when they were awakened by noises. Bell said the homeowner investigated and found Sadlick in the kitchen drinking a glass of wine.

Sadlick was charged with criminal trespass to a residence, criminal damage to property of less than $300 and disorderly conduct.

He is scheduled to appear May 31 in DuPage County Circuit Court in Wheaton to answer all the charges.
