Youth choir to perform at Marklund

For the fifth year in a row, the Youth Choir from Naperville Presbyterian Church will perform for Marklund clients at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 13, in the multipurpose room, Marklund Hyde Center, 1S450 Wyatt Drive, Geneva.

Forty-five children, from second-graders to high school seniors, comprise the Youth Choir. Under the direction of Pam Shortness, assistant worship director, the group will present a contemporary worship service complete with a band and some gospel songs.

“Bringing the worship service for the residents of Marklund is one of the highlights of our year,” Shortness said. “The young people in the choir get the chance to serve, and we always appreciate the enthusiasm of the audience.”
