Kilburg for Geneva Ward 3

Every city should have a person who displays the leadership and passion of a Dean Kilburg, whose civic involvement and years as a school board president showed he is up to handling the most difficult of challenges.

Every neighborhood in Geneva could use an advocate and spokesperson as level-headed and passionate as Becky Hruby displays in the city’s Third Ward.

It’s the nature of their experience that distinguishes these two candidates seeking the open Third Ward aldermanic seat in Geneva.

We envision Kilburg as an alderman who would have sweeping knowledge of the entire city, its operations and its interactions with other major taxing bodies like the school district while also looking out for his ward’s best interests. We envision Hruby as a calming influence, one who could take concerns of her neighbors to the council and resolve problems.

In these economic times, the more experienced Kilburg is the better choice to deal with issues related to the sales tax, budgets, empty storefronts and infrastructure maintenance.
