Update: The Bulls dropped two games in January to the Bobcats, before finally recording a 106-94 home win Feb. 15. Since then Charlotte traded Bulls nemesis Gerald Wallace to Portland. The trade has done little to enhance the Bobcats’ playoff chances. They’ve lost five in a row to fall to 26-37. Top scorer Stephen Jackson (19.0 ppg) missed the past two games with a hamstring injury but is expected to return Wednesday night. PF Tyrus Thomas also is expected to return after missing nearly two months with a knee injury.
