To Continue moving forward and being able to keep up with the growth and recreation needs of our community, including acquiring more field space, facilities and expanding programs.

To continue to maintain fiscal responsibility, especially when the economy has become so stagnant.

What programs aren't paying for themselves? Would you keep, eliminate or change them? How and why?

Special Events generally do not pay for themselves. However, this is a service that the board agrees to budget for from year to year. Special events are evaluated on a regular basis, to determine weather or not it should be continued in the following year. Most of our special events are sponsored by local organizations and businesses

Is there any additional open space the park district needs to acquire? Please describe.

Not at this time

Are there any unmet recreational needs? If yes, what are they and how would you propose paying for them? Or, should they wait until the economy improves?

Recreational needs tend to change depending on new trends. I feel that the Park District continues to to meet these needs by assessing and evaluating on a regular basis

Would you support sharing/pooling resources (i.e. printing, vehicles) with other local governments (school districts, village, etc.)? If so, what areas would you consider combining or merging to save money or improve efficiency?

The Park District already has several joint partnerships in place with organizations such as running programs with other park districts and municipalities within the village and township.

If you are a newcomer, what prompted you to run for the park board? If you're an incumbent, list your accomplishments or key initiatives in which you played a leadership role.
