Trains resume schedule after pedestrian accident

Metra officials said trains are running on normal schedules again after the outbound Union Pacific-West Line was stopped for a time in Chicago due to a pedestrian accident.

In total, four trains were shut down and canceled following the early morning accident, while two others changed from express trains to making every stop to pick up stranded commuters.

Officials have not released any details regarding the accident at the Kedzie Street station.
