Naperville finalizes holiday card plans

Naperville has finalized its plans to take a community photo for its 2010 holiday card.

The photograph will be taken at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, at the base of the Millennium Carillon near Rotary Hill along the city's downtown Riverwalk at 443 W. Aurora Ave. Participants are expected to pose in a manner that spells “Peace.”

Officials originally planned to shoot the photo outside city hall, but had to change locations when more residents than expected expressed interest in participating.

Interested residents are asked to RSVP at www.naperville.il.us/2010holidaycard.aspx by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23. A map of how the photo shoot will be arranged is available at www.naperville.il.us/2010holidaycard.aspx.
