Obama has done nothing so far

When anyone in office tries to justify his behavior by being arrogant about it is showing weakness that most people will see through, but they may wonder what the man is trying to be so tough about.

When Obama says with almost phony humility that his worst failing is a messy desk and office, he should wonder who is being kidded by that silly comment. A person with that attitude is fooling himself only.

Obama ignores the fact that he has done nothing of any consequence since he became president. About all he has done is to become part of the Nancy Pelosi/Harry Reid triumvirate that will have run up the national debt to $14 trillion by the end of the year. Obama has truly failed to get anything important accomplished.

The under-30 crowd that helped elect Obama, voted for him 2:1, are leaving him now, much more interested in getting a job than being part of the new deal they thought they had bought into. All this comes from a man who rose to prominence by thunderously declaring we were not red states or black state or white states or Latin America, but united States of America.

Backing up those words with action simply doesn't happen.

Sen. Mitch McConnell recently commented that the single most important thing the country needs to accomplish is that Obama will be a one-term president. Obama has the misconception that if we treat Muslim groups with kindness, they will work to be our friends. Obama must stop making nice to Muslim countries. They need to be talked to but they don't respect friendliness. They respect strength. Iran is perhaps our most serious enemy, and Obama thinks they can be softened up by being nice.
