Sky to honor girls basketball teams

Chicago Sky will be recognizing one high school varsity girls' basketball team each week that demonstrate ssportsmanship and leadership on and off the court in its High School Team of the Week program.

Beginning Nov. 17 to Feb. 9, 2011, the Chicago Sky will select a team each Wednesday that makes a difference in its school and community.

Each winning team will also receive a complimentary Team Night Out ticket package to a 2011 Sky regular season home game at Allstate Arena in Rosemont. The high school team will meet and talk with the Sky players and coaches before the game and be honored on the Sky court during the game.

Teams will also have the Sky Experience brought to one of their high school basketball games. The Sky will bring Sky Guy, giveaways, raffles and players and coaches if available.
