Character, training Kramer's strong suits

I am writing this letter to inform the voters of Kane County that the best candidate for sheriff is Donald Kramer. I had the pleasure of meeting Don and working with him as he excelled as a lieutenant in the community policing unit.

Kramer developed comprehensive plans that outlined strategies to reduce problems in the neighborhoods and the letters and comments from county residents supported his achievements. He identified locations with high crash rates and coordinated enforcement efforts. He assisted in developing a school safety protocol with the Regional Office of Education and was recognized by the sheriff for his work in the field and presented the Department Leadership Award in 2008.

Kramer is running for sheriff because he saw that politics was beginning to lead the sheriff's department down a dark road. The arrogance, double standards, hypocrisies, temper tantrums, and the demanding of respect would shock the senses. Don was not untouched. As soon as it surfaced that he was running for sheriff, Sheriff Perez transferred him into the civil division, foreclosures/evictions.

Don wants people to vote for him because he has more experience, more education and training, and a future for the Kane County Sheriff's department and not one just for him.

I believe I am a pretty good judge of character. I have known Pat Perez for 20 years and I didn't see the real man until he became sheriff. I know him quite well now and, therefore, I implore the voters of Kane County to vote for Don Kramer. On a business and personal level, this is a no brainer.
