Kane District 23: Auger

In Kane County Board District 23, Republican Maggie Auger has a background in the judicial system and experience in planning, zoning and economic development that would serve her well on the board.

Her idea of more bus routes on Randall Road warrants consideration, and her push to build the Longmeadow Parkway bridge would serve a critical transportation need in the county.

Democrat Linda Nuneman's aim to reduce vehicle traffic by encouraging more online business, while admirable, isn't realistic. Auger's balanced view on transportation and conservation appears more solid.
