Kane County District 15: Catlin

Kay Catlin, the Democratic challenger from St. Charles, will push for change and will be able to help the Kane County Board make tough decisions in regard to balancing the budget. Catlin, a longtime health advocate in the county, supported downsizing the health department when the funding from the state was not available.

Catlin also appears to have more realistic views about why the jail was not built to the needed capacity. She states it was built to budget specifications but not to the number of inmates it would have when it opened.

Republican incumbent Barb Wojnick, of St. Charles, has been on the board since 1998 but doesn't seem to have a voice that is being heard. Catlin is endorsed for the 15th District.
