Kane County, District 13: Lewis

St. Charles Republican Philip Lewis' experience on the Kane County Board will be an advantage in the next term, as the board will be facing challenging budgetary issues.

This year, tough decisions needed to be made in regard to the health department. More tough decisions will need to be made in the upcoming years.

Lewis had sound reasons for supporting the downsizing, and has insights into the spending challenges of the future.

We endorse him over challenger Stephen Bruesewitz, a St. Charles Democrat.
