Aptakisic-Tripp School District 102 will hold a long-range planning meeting next week. Almost 100 parents, school staff and community members have signed up to participate in the discussions on the district’s vision for the future, a subject last revisited five years ago, according to Superintendent Theresa Dunkin.
A major vision report was established in 1998, she said. Members of the future planning committee will meet four times before presenting their findings to the board of education in April.
The first meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Aptakisic Junior High School cafeteria.
