Another national Democrat is putting support behind an Illinois Democrat.
Vice President Joe Biden is expected in Chicago on Tuesday to headline a Gov. Pat Quinn rally for jobs in Illinois.
Biden will attend the rally called "Putting Illinois Back to Work" at a plumber's union on the city's West Side.
Quinn faces Republican Bill Brady, a state senator, in the November election for governor.
Biden is the most recent prominent Democrat to visit Chicago.
Last week President Barack Obama attended a fundraiser for Alexi Giannoulias (jeh-NOO'-lee-ehs), who faces Republican Mark Kirk for the U.S. Senate seat.
Later this week, first lady Michelle Obama is also expected to attend a Giannoulias fundraiser.
