Scouting Christian Liberty at North Shore Country Day

Last week: Christian Liberty lost to Mooseheart 41-6; NSCD lost to Rockford Christian 64-2
Outlook: Christian Liberty was hit by a 34-point second-quarter blitz last week and managed only 65 yards of total offense as Mike Wood had a 19-yard TD run in the third quarter. North Shore ran into conference favorite Rockford Christian last week but did get 131 yards rushing from Ayo Okesanya. Junior QB Steve Smith also threw for 164 yards and 3 TDs in a 38-36 win over Hope Academy and for 265 yards in a season-opening 25-0 win over Mooseheart.
