A "taste of Salsa 17" hors d'oeuvres reception followed with chamber board members, Village Prosecutor Ernie Blomquist and First Hospitality Group executives.

"You have something very special here and I wish you continued success," Mulder told the restaurateurs. Salsa 17 is at the site of the former Fuego restaurant in Arlington Heights' downtown dining district.

Robert Habeeb, president and COO of First Hospitality Group, said the company plans to bring additional restaurant concepts to the area.

"We are very proud to be a part of your community and this will not be our last restaurant in Arlington Heights," Habeeb said
