Scouting Kirkland Hiawatha at Christian Liberty

By Marty Maciaszek

NORTHEASTERN ATHLETIC

Kirkland Hiawatha (0-3, 0-3) at Christian Liberty (0-3, 0-3)

When: 1 p.m. Saturday

Last week: Kirkland Hiawatha lost to Rockford Christian 63-6; Christian Liberty lost to CICS-Longwood 56-0

Outlook: Both teams have faced tough early schedules as Hiawatha played the NAC preseason favorite last weekend and has also lost to Hope Academy 28-13 and Alden-Hebron 20-0. Christian Liberty was shut out by Hebron in its opener but scored a school-record 25 points in a loss two weeks ago to Hope. Christian Liberty is still looking for the program's first victory; Hiawatha won last year's meeting 41-6 and finished 5-4.
