Two charged in Aurora stabbing

A pair of Aurora residents face attempted murder charges accusing them of stabbing a man outside a liquor store Friday night.

Bridget Ann Ivanov, 38, and Sean Roderick Parker Sr., 42, also face aggravated battery charges stemming from the incident in which, authorities allege, they stabbed a man four times in the back and abdomen about 11 p.m. in the 300 block of East Galena Boulevard.

Both are in custody at the Kane County jail after Judge Robert Morrow set bail Sunday at $750,000 for Ivanov and $1 million for Parker. They gave their addresses as 659 S. River St., Aurora. That is the address of the Hesed House shelter for homeless people.

The victim and the suspects did not appear to know each other, Aurora Police Lt. Pete Inda said. The victim was taken to Provena Mercy Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, Inda said.

Attempted murder is a Class X felony punishable by six to 30 years in prison. Aggravated battery is punishable by a maximum two to five years in prison.
