Naperville Central shuts off water fountains

Drinking fountains at Naperville Central High School were turned off as a precaution Thursday after a routine water check agitated the pipe system and produced cloudy water, according to a Talk203 e-mail message to parents.

Students will be supplied with bottled water until district officials receive third-party confirmation that nothing further needs to be done.

Students are welcome to bring bottled water from home Friday.
