When the Class 3A-4A North all-star girls basketball team takes the floor June 12 at Illinois Wesleyan's Shirk Center, it will be coached by the dean of Mid-Suburban League girls basketball coaches and a recent award winner.

I am thankful for them. And good years or tough years, working with high school kids is so rewarding - it truly is."
