New on DVD: 'The Complete Sherlock Holmes Collection'

With the release of the new Sherlock Holmes film with Robert Downey Jr. on DVD comes the newly packaged original Holmes films starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. The 14 films have been restored and preserved by the UCLA Theater Archives who transferred the 35 mm master copies into the digital format for the best audio and video quality that the films have ever seen.

The films are: "The Hound of Baskervilles," "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes," "Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror," "Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon," "Sherlock Holmes in Washington," "Sherlock Holmes Faces Death," "Sherlock Holmes in the Spider Woman," "Sherlock Holmes the Scarlet Claw," "Sherlock Holmes in Pearl of Death," "Sherlock Holmes House of Fear," "Sherlock Holmes and the Woman in Green," "Sherlock Holmes Pursuit to Algiers," "Sherlock Holmes Terror by Night" and "Sherlock Holmes Dressed to Kill."

The special features include trailers, photo galleries, commentary and footage of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
