Hearts for Heroes gone, not forgotten

Hello, Naperville. I feel as if it has been far too long since I have last seen you. I am writing this letter, not only to say how much I miss my wonderful hometown, but to thank you.

As much as I adore living in New York City, I still find myself missing the charm and supportive patrons which Naperville houses. Unfortunately, Hearts for Heroes was unable to continue this year due to my attending New York University, but that does not mean everyone's efforts with supporting our troops the past four years was forgotten.

I am so thankful that I come from such a loving and community-oriented city, and I just want to thank you all once again for helping me make those past four years so unforgettable. It was such a group effort to make Hearts for Heroes the success it was so I can never take the credit for the project because I know without Naperville, no soldier would have been as pleased on Valentine's Day.

Thank you all again so much. Since I could not be there to celebrate with you all, I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day filled with love and happiness.
