Man arrested after disrobing at Phoenix airport

PHOENIX -- Authorities say a man who took off his clothes and caused a brief disturbance inside a terminal of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport has been arrested.

Phoenix police say 27-year-old Daniel Greene drove his car at a high rate of speed to the curb area of an airport terminal Friday afternoon. They say he got out of the car while it was still rolling, but airport employees were able to stop it before it caused any damage.

Police say a shirtless Greene walked into the terminal's ticket area and began yelling and knocking over the ticket line stanchions. Police say he then stripped off his clothes before he was taken into custody and booked into jail.

Authorities say Greene told them he was bipolar and off his medication.

Airport operations weren't disrupted.
