Scouting: Butler @ Loyola

Butler (14-4, 7-0) at Loyola (12-5, 3-4)When: 7 p.m. Thursday at Gentile CenterTV: Channel 56Net: horizonleaguenetwork.tv Radio: WAUR 930-AM, WNTD 950-AM, WLUW 88.7-FMSkinny: The kings of the Horizon League are in town for the weekend, so the Ramblers are pulling out all the stops in hopes of earning the program's first home win over a ranked team in 24 years. Loyola wants everyone to wear the necessary shirts for a "White-Out" and will host a free tailgate party an hour before tipoff. At that point, it'll be up to the Ramblers to figure out a way to slow down the Bulldogs (who rank No. 20 in the coaches' poll but No. 31 in the writers' poll). Butler's offense is deceptively simple. The Bulldogs either put up 3-pointers (they shoot 35 percent) or they slash to the hoop and draw fouls. Gordon Hayward (15.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg) and Matt Howard (11.1 ppg) lead the Bulldogs' parade to the foul line. They shoot 1 free throw for every 2 field-goal attempts.
