United Airlines to give Haiti quake donation

Chicago-based United Airlines will match up to $50,000 in customer and employee donations made through its Web site to aid victims of Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti.

United says the funds will go to the American Red Cross.

The airline says members of its Mileage Plus frequent-flier program and employees are donating miles to non-profits through its Charity Miles program.

The company adds that it is working with disaster relief agencies to decide how to help with airlift relief efforts.
