Oswego woman arrested in 1988 slaying of her husband in Alaska

A 45-year old Oswego woman was arrested by the Kendall County Sheriff's Department Wednesday night on accusations that she killed her former husband when the two lived in Alaska in 1988.

Jane Limm, of the 2500 block of Light Drive, has been indicted and charged with first-degree murder and evidence tampering by an Alaskan grand jury last week, officials said.

She was arrested in Oswego as she walked to her car Wednesday night, officials said. Police are working out details to extradite the woman back to Alaska.

Scott Coville, Limm's former husband, was reported missing by family members in April of 1988 when they hadn't heard from him in several weeks, officials said.

His body was never found, but an Alaskan cold case unit developed new leads that led to the indictment.
