Apple Fest returns to Long Grove with food, music and fun
A weekend full of apple-inspired food and drinks, live music, family activities and shopping kicked off Friday at the Long Grove Apple Fest.
Caramel-dipped, chocolate-covered, baked into pies, pressed into cider, mixed into seasonal drinks, and worked into sweet and savory creations, apples take center stage throughout the weekend.
Long Grove’s Apple Fest is known for the apple pies, doughnuts, caramel-dipped to candied apples, apple wine, sangria, and more.
The festival continues 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.
