Dist. 45 superintendent seach to include parent/community forumsOct 2, 2012 4:28 PM - The School District 45 Board of Education has initiated a superintendent search to replace Dr. Janice M. Rosales, who will retire at the end of the 2012-13 school year. The Board took action to hire Dr. William C. Schewe to conduct the search. Dr. Schewe will begin the process by conducting a series of Parent/Community Forums.

New firefighters, lifesaving devices for LombardJun 12, 2012 4:16 PM - The Lombard Fire Department has a few new faces and the Lombard community has a few new lifesaving devices after a recent series of promotions and automatic external defibrillator giveaways. Three new firefighters were sworn in and Lt. Paul DiRienzo was promoted to battalion chief during Thursday's village board meeting, at which the fire department also gave out 11 automatic external defibrillators.
