River Trails Park District begins 50th anniversary celebrationFeb 14, 2015 6:32 PM - The Mount Prospect-based River Trails Park District kicked-off its yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary Saturday with a free "family fun" day at the Marvin Weiss Community Center, 1500 E. Euclid Ave., Mount Prospect. Activities included a preschool obstacle course, family twister, cup-stacking contest, basketball, storybook painting and program demonstrations.
