The law's sponsor, Barrington Hills Republican David McSweeney, said the legal challenge by the Nunda Township and McHenry Township road districts is a "nuisance suit" and called township officials "tax-eating amateurs" who are seeking "to protect their jobs, their political patronage and their nepotism." -

These are the first positive tests for West Nile in McHenry County in 2015.

Volunteers needed to help at Nunda Garden
Jul 22, 2015 7:30 PM - Volunteers with a green thumb can help provide fresh produce for local residents struggling with hunger by getting involved with Nunda Garden. All produce harvested from Nunda Garden is distributed to Northern Illinois Food Bank, Crystal Lake Food Pantry and First Community Methodist Church Community Meal. Volunteers are needed to help weed, mulch, edge and assist with harvesting. -
