Bunny hopping in Historic Long Grove April 8Mar 15, 2023 8:55 AM - A family holiday tradition will return to historic downtown Long Grove on Easter weekend when hundreds of egg-seeking children flood Brother's Field for the Bunny Hop, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8. This annual event officially kicks off the spring and summer festival season in a town known for outdoor events. Children of all ages are invited to bring their baskets and hop along from station to station collecting eggs in an unforgettable, interactive experience at Brother's Field (adjacent to Fred Astaire Dance Studio at 342 Old McHenry Road). Participants who bring baskets will first check in for the free event, then walk through an Easter-themed field, stopping at each station to experience entertaining attractions such as mini ponies, face painting and balloon artists. Big Bunny, who presides over the ceremonies, will also be available for photos and hugs!
