Gott: Can allergies cause itchy, dry eyelids?
Jun 14, 2011 7:44 AM - I have itchy, dry eyelids that burn. My doctor prescribed 10 milligrams of prednisone, a steroid. It seemed to help, at least while I was taking it, but I can feel the burning sensation coming back. Is there something safe that I can put on my eyelid that will help with that?

Celery, palmetto may help symptoms of BPH
Jun 3, 2011 6:39 PM - I have had an enlarged prostate gland for a number of years and have found saw palmetto beneficial in relieving the symptoms. I have also modified my diet and try to eat several stalks of raw celery every day. Much to my surprise, I can now sleep through the night without getting up for the usual bathroom break.

Gott: Colitis complications require doctor's care
May 1, 2011 12:01 AM - I was told that I have lymphocytic colitis. I have been on Entocort for three months and am now on Lialda. I am seeing a gastroenterologist. I am told that this is an immune problem. Is this a long-lasting problem, and am I seeing the right doctor?

But in the past year, I have been suffering from the increasing embarrassment of noisy flatulence. No pain, except that of embarrassment. I read that it is usually dietary, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
